The °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ (°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥) Emerging Leaders (EL) program is a leadership development program which enables newer library workers from across the country to participate in problem-solving work groups, network with peers, gain an inside look into °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ structure, and have an opportunity to serve the profession in a leadership capacity. It puts participants on the fast track to °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ committee volunteerism as well as other professional library-related organizations.


RUSA's 2025 Emerging Leader:

RUSA is pleased to announce that Margaret Breen has been selected as our 2025 Emerging Leader! Margaret is a public librarian at the Hopkins Branch of the Hennepin County Library.

°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥’s Emerging Leader Program is designed to enable library staff and information workers to participate in project planning work groups, network with peers, gain an inside look into °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ structure, and have an opportunity to serve the profession in a leadership capacity early in their careers.
