ACRL Vice-President/President-Elect Brad Warren invites you to volunteer to serve on a 2025-26 division or section committee. Face-to-face attendance at conferences is not required and committee work can be completed virtually throughout the year.

After a four-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the ACRL Immersion Facilitator Team is excited to reconnect with the library community through a new blog series. The five-part series delves into the Immersion Program's foundational pillars. Additionally, the facilitators are actively planning the summer 2025 Immersion Program and regional Immersion in a Box program and want to hear what kinds of professional development you are interested in, related to information literacy and the role of libraries in higher education. The State of U.S. Academic Libraries: Findings from the ACRL 2023 Annual Survey report
Academic libraries provide essential services that support research and student success in higher education. To help track the nature and quantity of those services, ACRL fields an annual Academic Library Trends and Statistics Survey that collects key metrics on academic library staff, expenditures, collections, circulation, and information services. The data help librarians, administrators, and stakeholders assess the impact of academic libraries, make peer comparisons, and track trends over time. This report focuses on U.S. academic libraries and the results reflect the 1,414 responding institutions in 2023.
